Authorized Use Policy
TLC Web Enterprises provides web hosting to many clients,
and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide
the best services available. The following guidelines were designed
to ensure these obligations are met.
Content: All services provided by TLC Web Enterprises
may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or
presentation of any information, data or material in violation of
any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This
includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material
we judge to be threatening or obscene or material protected by trade
secret and other statute, and invasion of privacy. The subscriber
agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TLC Web Enterprises
from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages
the subscriber or any other party.
All pornographic content and sex-related merchandising is prohibited
on all TLC Web Enterprises servers. This includes sites that
may infer sexual content or links to adult content elsewhere. TLC
Web Enterprises will be the sole arbiter in determining violations
of this provision.
Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or
present content that may be damaging to TLC Web Enterprise's
servers or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials
are also prohibited. Examples of unacceptable content or links:
Pirated software
Hacker programs or archives
Warez sites
TLC Web Enterprises will be the sole arbiter as to what
constitutes a violation of this provision.
Commercial Advertising - Email (Spam): Spamming, or the
sending of unsolicited email, from a TLC Web Enterprises
server or using an email address or domain that is maintained on
a TLC Web Enterprises machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited.
TLC Web Enterprises will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes
a violation of this provision.
Misuse of System Resources: Any attempt to undermine or
cause harm to a server, or customer, of TLC Web Enterprises
is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: using
programs that consume excessive CPU time; allowing the use of mail
services, mail forwarding capabilities, or autoresponders other
than for the customer's own account; resale of disk space without
an appropriate reseller agreement; use of servers for backup of
files unrelated to the web site of the account; or resale or remote
access to CGI scripts installed on our servers. Operation of IRC
servers or IRC bots on our servers will result in an immediate suspension
of service.
Billing and Payment for Services: All accounts will automatically renew at the end of their term using whatever billing method was chosen at signup. If you used a credit card at signup, we will attempt to charget that same credit card. If you used paypal or check/money order at signup, you will receive an invoice with instructions to pay.
TLC Web Enterprises
accepts personal checks from standard hosting clients who are current
residents of the United States of America and submit checks drawn
from US bank accounts. We do not accept check payments for Reseller
accounts. Check payers will be invoiced via email. The invoice is
payable net 15 days from issue. If payment is not received in 15
days, then an overdue invoice will be issued via email. If payment
is not received within 15 days of the overdue invoice, the clients
account will be suspended and will no longer be accessible. If the
account goes beyond 60 days, the clients data will be deleted from
the server and, the account terminated.
TLC Web Enterprises also accepts credit card payments. Credit
cards are accepted for international and domestic customers. Those
who pay by credit card are responsible to insure that the credit
card information that we have is up to date. If a clients credit
card expires, the client should go to https://tlcwe.com/modernbill
where they should log in and update their credit card information.
If a client credit card fails on any billing cycle, you will be
notified immediately via email. We will attempt to rerun the charge
in 5 days. If it fails again, the client account will be suspended.
Another attempt will be made 5 days after the second attempt. If
the account goes beyond 60 days, the clients data will be deleted
from the server and, the account terminated.
Cancellation: All accounts will automatically renew at the end of their term using whatever billing method was chosen at signup. If you used a credit card at signup, we will attempt to charget that same credit card. If you used paypal or check/money order at signup, you will receive an invoice with instructions to pay.
To prevent automatic renewal of your hosting account, cancellation can be made via email to sales@tlcwe.com.
Although no notice is required, and there is no cancellation fee,
all fees paid for service up to the notice of cancellation are non-refundable.
If cancellation is made within the first 30 days of service all
hosting fees will be refunded. This does not include fees for domain
registration.
Suspension: Activity which results in a suspension or deactivation
of an account will result in a forfeiture of fees paid. Complaints
made regarding abuses of an account will be grounds for suspension.
Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse, cancel,
or suspend service at our sole discretion.
All sub-networks, distributive hosting sites, and dedicated servers
of TLC Web Enterprises must adhere to the above policies.

Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate
account termination.
